Marie-Ève Petit

Founder

Marie-Eve Petit, known to most as Mimi, is the founder and creative director of Casa del Somi. Her work is defined by precision and emotion in equal measure. Long before launching her studio, Marie-Eve was known for noticing what others missed. She would stop mid-walk on the way to dinner because a storefront signage had the perfect typeface. She would stand there for minutes studying the kerning, the spacing, the proportion, trying to understand why it felt so right. She was often late, distracted by details no one else noticed. That instinct became the foundation of her practice.

Florence Bouchard

Graphic Designer

Florence brings structure, refinement, and precision to the studio. with a strong understanding of branding systems and visual identity, she helps translate creative direction into cohesive graphic worlds across digital and print. her attention to detail and calm approach make her an essential part of the team.

Gloria brings structure, care, and balance to the day-to-day operations of the studio. she helps oversee client communication, organization, timelines, and the many moving parts behind each project to ensure every client feels genuinely taken care of. highly detail-oriented and deeply thoughtful, she brings a calm and sensitive approach that naturally elevates the experience around every project.

What started as a friendship quickly became a creative partnership. val brings a thoughtful eye, a strong visual sensitivity, and a natural instinct for design. with a background in interior design and constant inspiration drawn from her travels, she approaches content through a refined and detail-oriented lens. through content creation, creative direction support, shoot assistance, and visual storytelling, she helps bring ideas to life in a way that feels effortless, warm, and intentional.

With a natural eye shaped by fashion, interiors, and hospitality, Marie-Eve approaches branding as a discipline of refinement. Fashion taught her proportion. Interiors taught her atmosphere. Hospitality taught her experience. Design became the language through which all three converged. To her, details are not decorative. They are structural. They shape perception before a single word is spoken. But beyond aesthetics, her work is about feeling. She believes a brand should make someone pause. It should create tension, warmth, curiosity, desire. A menu should feel weighted with intention. A website should feel like entering a room. A space should hold you for a moment longer than expected.
